Hi, I’m Joshua “Aslan” Fawcett. I’m an aspiring photographer, wilderness guide, outdoor educator, and wildlife conservationist.
Hello! And welcome to my gallery. I’m a nature and wildlife photographer based currently in Utah. I believe in connecting people to the natural world through personal experiences and art. My objective in sharing my photography with the world is to showcase the amazing world we live in and inspire others to enjoy and protect it. I love experiencing nature in all its wonder. Whether that is the grandest vista or the smallest wildlife. I want to see and photograph it all.

In addition to being a photographer, I also work as a wilderness guide with children and an educator at the local aquarium. I have a bachelor’s in Wildlife Conservation and a Master’s in Endangered Species Conservation.
Both of these aspects heavily influence my work. I enjoy sharing the beauty and wonder of nature through both the medium of photography and in person. I believe that nature is healing to the soul. During the hard times of my life, I have often sought respite in the quiet solitude of nature.
I believe that this world is meant to be explored and that there are no limits to what we can discover when we explore it. Both about ourselves and about the world around us. It is all about connecting ourselves with the natural world and with each other.
