6…no…7 months in…

Hi there,

Summer has not gone as planned on my end. I’m currently in Yakima, WA staying with family and it has been a creative struggle. Suprisingly, I’ve taken to birding and wildlife photography. Then again, if you know me, then that wouldn’t be a suprise. In a barren landscape, it is important to look at the world differently as a photographer. Things that seem boring or mundane can leap out at you, begging to be photographed if you are paying attention. For me, that has been birds. Whatever leaps out to you, capture it.

In other news, I’m a little over halfway into this new journey of photography, and I got to say, I’m much farther along than I thought I would be. There is still tons of room for growth, but I’ve just recently achieved one of my main goals for 2023 and my journey this year. That is having my art displayed in some sort of show/gallery. So it is my pleasure to announce that this week at Volition Brewing in North Bend, WA; eight of my photos that I have created this year will be on display for the month of August.
